This investment supports Asian Pacific Community in Action (APCA) to build an intersectional framework that examines and operationalizes both reproductive justice and oral health in alignment with the DentaQuest Partnership priorities to promote health equity in Arizona, engage grassroots partners in systems-change advocacy, and pursue person-centered models of care. APCA is a non-profit organization that provides services, advocacy and education for diverse communities resulting in a healthier and more empowered population seeking good health. Specific deliverables include bringing building partnerships between oral health partners and reproductive health partners, designing a correlative base of knowledge of the intersection of the two topics, and building a frame for engaging health providers in understanding and operationalizing. $75,000 will support staff time and programmatic expenses that are aligned with deliverables, as well as mini-grant support for community-based partners.
