This investment supports Children’s Action Alliance (CAA) to advance oral health policy and network adequacy in Arizona through policy advocacy, oversight of the Arizona Oral Health Coalition, and broad community engagement. This work is in alignment with the DentaQuest Partnership priorities to promote health equity in the state, engage grassroots partners in systems-change, and expand access to public adult dental benefits. Specific deliverables include: mobilizing and supporting the Arizona Oral Health Coalition (AZOHC) in driving statewide advocacy, engaging AZ Medicaid in opportunities for network adequacy, and conducting a fiscal impact analysis. $175,000 will support staff time and support for CAA and the AZOHC, mini-grants to rural/regional oral health coalitions, and time, travel, and meeting expenses to host an annual oral health conference and other network meetings.
